This is
the Ngaio Scouts badge, designed based on two distinctive themes:
The colour represents the sky and the sun,
and has been the colour that represents the Ngaio Group since its
inception. The Ngaio design incorporates:
- The hills around Ngaio
- The Trellisick Stream which runs through all of Ngaio down to the the
harbour via the Ngaio Gorge
- The Ngaio Tree, which grows very well here
